When they’re not dealing with uptight A-holes that want it “their way“, people in the service industry have hobbies, too. Some like to crochet, others gardening and hiking. There’s also those who want to shred your face off, in the rock ‘n roll sense. And starting June 16th at the Big Easy, they’re getting their chance. Food Fight pits different bands that are comprised of members of a single restaurant representing their brand on the stage. The winners get the bragging rights while the losers walk away with there heads hung in defeat. Here’s the breakdown:

The Divisions:

Division A: 40+ employees
Division B: 16-40 employees (1 ringer*)
Division C: up to 15 employees (2 ringers*)
*The ringer is a non-employee brought in to enhance your band.

The Rules:

1.) There are 6 band slots per division; registration is closed at this point.
2.) Each band can have a maximum of 7 people.
3.) Preliminary rounds: Each band is required to perform 2 songs, one of which can be a cover song, but doesn’t have to.
4.) The finals: You are required to perform 3 songs, one of which can be a cover.

The Prizes:

1st Place- Is determined by how many people each band brings in the door, but there will be cash. And mad props.
2nd Place- A bag o’ dirty kitchen towels
3rd Place- Shame

The action starts this weekend at the Big Easy. Preliminary rounds take place on Sunday, June 16th and 23rd, followed by the final round on Sunday, June 30th. So be there. We’re going. We’re actually gonna carpool. This is what we looked like last time we got drunk and carpooled (with a DD, duh):
